Ingredients: Pecans.
Our bulk pecan halves are selected from only the finest of sources. They are buttery, crunchy, and even a little sweet.
What Are Pecans?
Pecans originated in what is today Mexico and the south-central and southeastern regions of the United States. Native Americans traded and used pecans for thousands of years as a food source. Europeans discovered them in the 1500s AD when Spanish explorers visited the regions we now know as Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. Shortly after, they brought the pecan tree into the Old World, namely Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Now, we can find pecans in markets worldwide on a commercial level. Specifically, most commercially sold pecans grow in the United States. Georgia, Texas, and Missouri are famous for their commercially grown pecans, which we sell here.
